We stayed such a short time but absolutely loved our stay! The room was lovely and large, the view spectacular and Pierre and Branka superb hosts. Thoroughly recommend a stay here if you want peace and quiet with just the sounds of the bird life and sea. We will go back and stay longer next time!! Nat. Nov 2013 (Adelaide)
We are a small family with 2 young kids in tow and we had indeed surprised our dear Hosts with our 'undeclared' little ones! Branka and Pierre were such understanding and welcoming hosts that we really felt like so cosy and homely! Pierre even prepared a pail of fishes for our kids to witness the joy of feeding the wild Pelicans! The bush walking experience led by Pierre in search for wallabies ad kangaroos is simply adventurous and amazing for our 2 boys Ashley and Ayden! Pierre is also such a good chef! He whips out super delicious cooked breakfast and everyday is a different experience altogether! Branka is totally attentive to our every needs and the room is immaculately clean, neat and well decorated with lots of her own canvas paintings! She is such a creative genius that we fell in love with one recent artwork of hers and we had the blessing to buy one piece and bring it home with us! Adagio is well-located as a good base for your daily tours around Kangaroo Island! Pierre and Branka will give you the best advice you ever need for a wonderful experience in Kangaroo Island! "Branka & Pierre, we love Adagio and we will never forget the wonderful 3 nights spent there! Our boys will always remember 'dear Uncle Pier' and 'dear Aunty Branka' and Ashley is still drawing pictures of both of us! Aubrey & Mary. Oct 2013 (Singapore)
We enjoyed four fabulous nights at the Adagio B and B. From the time we arrived, Branka and Pierre made us feel like old friends not just paying customers. The room is very spacious and well appointed with its own separate entrance and the location is so peaceful and relaxing with great views across the beach and water right in front of the house. Branka and Pierre served up excellent breakfasts each morning and were happy to provide great advice on how best to enjoy the unique part of Australia that is Kangaroo Island. Oct 2013 (Brisbane)
We have been to Kangaroo Island 8 times since 2002, and have stayed in Holiday Homes/Units/Motels & Adagia B'N'B. It is in Adagio where we have now been guests 6 times, that we keep returning to. It is a place that has everything - serenity, views, beaches, wildlife, excellent breakfasts, and of course the best hosts! Pierre & Branka will go out of their way to make visitors welcome, with knowledge of the island & suggestions (when asked) of places to see. The accommodation is tasteful & comfortable - & the attention to detail is obvious. Sitting on the balcony just watching the moon reflecting in the bay ahead, perhaps with a glass of your favourite drink in your hand, is absolutely heaven! It is our "home away from home". Phyl & Rusty. Sept 2013 (Adelaide)
Adagio Bed and Breakfast was an absolutely wonderful spot to stay to explore the magnificent Kangaroo Island. Adagio's hosts are full of passion for the Island and have amazing knowledge of the Island that will help you plan each day's adventure! Situated only 100 metres from the beach it is perfect for beach walks and for animal lovers, there is wildlife galore! The accommodation itself is lovely - a very comfortable bed (always important) and everything that you could possibly need is in the apartment. Probably the best part of the Adagio experience is breakfast! Yummy food, gorgeous views and lovely hosts! Meg. Sept 2013 (Naracoorte)
We spent a week at Adagio and celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary while there. We cannot find enough superlatives to describe our stay at Adagio, and the island in general. The setting is marvellous, only about 100 metres from the water, and in a very quiet area. Morning walks on the sand before breakfast were very relaxing. The B&B apartment is fully self contained, with a separate entrance from the rest of the house. The front veranda looks out over the sea with 180 degree views. If a few fruit or vegetable peels are thrown off the back veranda, small kangaroos (wallabies?) come at dusk to scavenge a few treats.Breakfast is in the main house and cooked or continental - we had cooked breakfast each morning. The hosts have a profound knowledge of the island and its attractions - even those not so well publicised. We spent time visiting the island sights, and also spent a couple of 'quiet days' in the surrounds of the house. If we visit Kangaroo Island again, this is where well would stay. Jenny.

Approx translation: We arrived from Germany and spent two unforgettable weeks holidaying on Kangaroo Island in a warm and friendly atmosphere, with stunning views of the beach and sea. With Branka and Pierre Gregor we experienced not only great hospitality in very comfortable accommodation, but also got lots of tips and information on tours and attractions on the island. To walk after a hearty breakfast on the beach .... to experience unique, diverse fauna .... tours with breathtaking views at every turn .... a windy visit to the old lighthouse ... . "Little Sahara" .... and not to forget "Admirals Arch" and "Remarkable Rocks". Also a visit to the sea lions is a "must", and we recommend a stop at the wine growers of the island and not only because of its spectacular location. The island offers a great deal for both business as well as for recreation. Nature is unique. And the sheep, kangaroos and wallabies very soon became a familiar sight. We will come back!

Not just another B&B in a quaint setting, Adagio is indeed a special place.
